Dark Passenger

Alone in the dark,

I hear something stir,

I turn to see what,

But see only blur.

It cannot be seen,

And rarely it’s heard,

Its piercing silence,

That makes your gut churn.

The knowledge of nothing,

The power of greed,

Disadvantage of riches,

This lesson they need.

They are our dark passenger,

The wealthy and rich.

No value of money,

They’re making me twitch.

They are given the world,

With unlimited chances,

But when they fuck up,

Just one more of my stanzas.

Yesteryear Caught Fire

'The past is gone' myself proclamed,
Whilst speaking to old me.
'I lit the fire, and it flared to,
And now our future's free!'

'A job well done' old me did say,
Whilst he smouldered himself.
'But I am done, i cannot come,
To this future mental health.'

'But why must we now part our ways?'
I asked my former self,
'It's just the way our fate was writ,
To convenience thyself.'

'But here and now? Why must that be?
It just does not seem fair!'
'You'll cope, new me, but me, myself,
I've taken all i'll bare.'

And so, the me's did seperate,
Old me was cast to flame,
But new me's still among us,
New me, he doth remain.

Surviving aint Living

Sprawled on my back,
I look to the sky,
Memories float past,
And i wonder why?

I watch people slave,
To put bread on the table.
While the rich lounge around,
Bossing all who are able.

I watch those who are lazy,
Who dont accept change,
I watch those who are selfish,
Promote personal gain.

I watch those who are loveless,
Only care for posessions,
I pity those who regret,
Only follow obsessions.

So live today,
Take a chance,
Dont hold back!
Find romance.

This feelings mine,
So much relief,
Its better than,
My ex life of grief.

I wont back down,
I wont say goodbye,
This world's mine too,
Aint gonna let it die!

So hear my message,
As i stand strong,
For any who want to,
This is how you belong.

An Unfortunately True Armageddon

The true armageddon,
we're shrouded in smoke,
a life without friendship,
a life without hope.

A life without hope,
where would we be?
An ominous wreck,
this dark bears no glee.

But now a light shines,
breaks these clouds apart,
penetrates fears,
and warms my heart.

Its name is love,
i sit and i stare,
it makes me better,
it makes me care.

So lets spread the word,
its no cult or religion,
its the meaning of all,
not a work of fiction.

I Love Her

Searched all my life,
Now my search is done,
Think I've finally
Found my One.

Love you to bits,
And I swear its true,
I'd travel the world
Just to be with you.

You've replaced my air,
My food, my drink,
Without you,
I'd become extinct.

We've fallen so fast,
But our feelings are real,
With all my heart,
For you I do feel.

Words are an injustice,
They just cannot say
Anything close
To how i feel, babe.

Unreal Reality

This smile on my face,
Shall never be undone,
I've found another reason,
To continue to prolong.

The roads that I have travelled,
The sights that I have seen,
I've seen both sides of the fence,
But this sides grass is green!

I shall continue moving,
Unhindered my path be,
I've found another way to reach
My immortality!

Be kind to those who listen,
Be kind to those who shant,
It doesnt really matter,
Care less? Really cant!

So always wear a smile,
Even if life holds you down,
Theres always someone listening,
So cast aside your frown!

I Called Your Bluff

You and i had always said that it would be ok,
Yet everytime i talk to you you turn your face in shame.

Am i so damn evil that you cannot stand to be around?
My jokes are bad, my demeanors worse, and my tempers world renowned.

I hate the world as it hates me, this fury burns my bones,
I look around, people conform like slaves or worker drones.

So now you hate me after you said that we'd still be friends?
I asked for time, that was my crime, now you wish for my end?

So here's my gift, my last goodbye, please do not cry for me,
This is the end, i called your bluff, our spirits have been freed.
